But with 11 games against top-25 teams, the Red Raiders have way more experience against than Utah State does, who has just one. Looking at their potential second-round meeting with either Arkansas or Colgate, they could steam roll past Colgate based on experience alone, however, a matchup with Arkansas could come down to the wire considering both teams have explosive capabilities.

The Volunteers average five fewer points per game than the Cowboys do and bettors should be excited about these long odds.

Their second-round matchup is where things get tough as it will likely be with the top-seeded Baylor. The Tar Heels have gone 4-2 in their last six games while Baylor actually lost their last game out.

If Baylor doesn’t have the bounce-back that they are hoping for in the tournament, an experienced North Carolina team could certainly pull off a victory.

It could be seen as a bit of a surprise that Clemson’s odds to make the Sweet 16 are as long as they are. Clemson is a very strong defensive team and has some great experience against ranked opponents this season having gone 2-1 while their first-round opponent, Rutgers, has gone an awful 1-7.

Clemson should have no problem in the first round but could find some matchup difficulties against either Houston or Cleveland State. Houston is the heavy favorite to matchup up against the Tigers, who are a great defensive team.

Syracuse is seen as the underdogs in their first-round matchup but certainly could pull off an upset over San Diego State. They have one of the best offenses in the country and do put up more points per game than SDSU and also could get hot from beyond the arc in a matter of seconds.

A second-round matchup for them could be against West Virginia or Morehead State in which West Virginia is favored to advance. The Mountaineers are a great team, however, they have shown signs of inconsistency which could play a major role in the Orange possible moving on to the Sweet 16.

With West Virginia being a three-seed in the tournament, it is hard to believe that they have underdog odds to make the Sweet 16. The one thing to know is that when they get hot, they really cannot be matched which is why they are heavy 12.5-point favorites over Morehead State.

They would then have a second-round matchup with SDSU or Syracuse.

The Bonnies are poised to show the country why they made the NCAA Tournament as the ninth seed in East Region. They are fresh off of an Atlantic 10 Tournament win and have a meeting with a tough LSU team, however, it is the Bonnies defense that is set to carry them.

They face a real test in the second round which they could see a number one seeded Michigan team that is actually looking to get back on track after losing three of their last five games.

This would be a huge test and accomplishment for St. Bonaventure to take them down, but college basketball betting fans would have a solid payout.
