  • There are +20000 March Madness odds for VCU to win.
  • VCU went 20-13 against the spread.

RICHMOND, Va. – The VCU Rams are going dancing in March Madness after winning the Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship and are an #11 seed going into the NCAA Tournament.

Legal sports betting sites don’t have the highest expectations for VCU as they’re set to go into the tournament with +20000 odds to win the National Championship and +3000 to win the East Region and make it to the Final Four.

VCU has been one of the strongest teams all season long and they have the sixth overall point differential in the country to show for it with a +15-point margin against opponents this season.

In addition to their point differential, they’ve been extremely kind to bettors on college basketball betting sites this season with a 20-13 record against the spread and a +3-point cover margin average.

Unfortunately for the Rams, their luck hasn’t extended into March Madness with first round exits in their last three tournament appearances. They’ve also been at least a 4-point underdog in those games and failed to cover each time. They are now a +3.5-point underdog to BYU in the first round of the 2025 tournament.

VCU March Madness Betting Restrictions

With VCU in the NCAA Tournament, bettors in Virginia will be looking to bet on their hometown team while in the Old Dominion state. However, state regulated sportsbooks in Virginia do have restrictions that prohibit betting on any in state college teams and college player props nationwide.

Using international Virginia sports betting sites though bypasses those restrictions and allows bettors to get action on VCU throughout the tournament.

Those planning to make the trip to Denver to bet on VCU will also need to use international Colorado online sportsbooks to bet on VCU player props as state regulated books like DraftKings are not permitted to offer them either.
