- Texas A&M has -105 odds to make the college football playoffs.
- Kansas State has +110 odds to make the CFP.
- There are +140 odds for Indiana to get into the college football playoffs.
ATLANTA – Through week 10 of the college football season, the playoff race has been heating up and the odds on which teams are going to make the playoffs are constantly changing.
While teams like Oregon and Georgia seem to be like locks to legal sports betting sites with their heavily favored odds, there are teams that aren’t far behind them that are still in plus money territory.
Texas A&M (-105)
Currently ranked #10 in the country and in first place in the SEC, Texas A&M is in gear to push for a playoff spot and their college football odds to do so are offering huge value considering their position. Their resume is strong at a 7-1 overall record and 5-0 conference record with their only loss coming to then #7 Notre Dame in Week 1. Included in their wins are victories over top ten teams in Missouri and LSU.
They have a chance to strengthen their resume even more in their four remaining games against South Carolina, New Mexico State, Auburn, and Texas. If they win two of their three SEC games, they’ll surely be in the SEC Championship game and high enough where they could make it in even if they lost the conference championship.
Kansas State (+110)
Kansas State also has just one loss to the season and nullifying that loss is that it came to a currently undefeated BYU team that is headed straight for the Big 12 title game. Kansas State has four Big 12 games remaining on their schedule and the only thing standing in their way between them and the title game is an undefeated Iowa State team in the last game of the season.
If Kansas State can stay hot in conference play and build on their 4-1 Big 12 record before facing off against Iowa State, a win in that game would give them a shot at securing a playoff spot with a conference championship.
Indiana (+140)
The only people that saw an undefeated coming for Indiana to this point are the Hoosiers and their fan base. The Hoosiers do have a tough road to climb if they do want to get in to the final 12 as they have a road game against Ohio State. That game will make or break their chances to get in as a loss will send them with nothing to play for.
However, there is so much momentum lying with the Hoosiers and right now is a great time to get in on them being that if they do take down Ohio State, their odds will offer much less of a profit.
