- The Dallas Cowboys are favored by 8.0 points against the Las Vegas Raiders.
- The Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints total has (-105) odds on the UNDER for the total of 46.0 points.
- The Chicago Bears have a (-160) betting line to beat the Detroit Lions.
DALLAS – Thanksgiving day will have three NFL games to bet on with the usual suspects in action on the holiday.
Dallas Cowboys Vs. Las Vegas Raiders
The Dallas Cowboys are among the best bets of the season in the NFL. They have an 8-2 record ATS on the season and will be facing a team that’s lost three straight games in the Las Vegas Raiders. Legal sports betting sites may not favor the Cowboys by enough.
Raiders vs Cowboys Spread Odds
- Las Vegas Raiders +8 -110
- Dallas Cowboys -8 -110
Las Vegas hasn’t only been losing, but they’ve done getting beaten badly. Their last three losses have come by an average of 17.7 points per game largely because their offense is struggling, scoring just 14.3 points per game during the losing streak. The Cowboys defense that ranks eighth in scoring likely isn’t going to be the one who lets the Raiders et back on track.
Plus, favorites of 6.0 or more points have a 14-3 ATS record on Thanksgiving in the last 17 games, showing that there’s a good chance this results in a blowout. CBS will have coverage of this game at 4:30 p.m. EST.
Buffalo Bills Vs. New Orleans Saints
The best bet in the night game between the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints may be on the total. Both teams have defenses ranked in the top 10 for the fewest points allowed and have offenses that have been underperforming. NFL betting sites may have set the total too high given their recent play.
Bills vs Saints Total Odds
- OVER 45.5 -110
- UNDER 45.5 -110
The teams combine to allow just 39.4 points per game, well short of the set total. Plus, the Bills have scored fewer than 17 points in two of the last three weeks while the Saints are scoring just 24.8 points per game over their last five outings. Oversimplified, it’s two good defenses against two struggling offenses with a total set 45.5. Seems to be an easy UNDER play.
NBC will have coverage of the game starting at 8:20 p.m. EST.
Chicago Bears Vs. Detroit Lions
Betting on the Chicago Bears to win on the moneyline may not be the best bet of the game, but potentially the entire day of football. The Detroit Lions are bad, that’s known, but the franchise has seen an even greater level of disappointment on Thanksgiving in recent memory.
Bears vs Lions Moneyline Odds
- Chicago Bears -160
- Detroit Lions +140
The Lions play every Thanksgiving but have been losing way more often than normal. The franchise has not seen a win in any of the last four Thanksgiving games and has only done so only five times in the last 21 seasons. A winless team in a scenario where they historically fail at an impressive rate is an easy target to fade, regardless of the opponent.
Andy Dalton will start at quarterback for the first time in a couple of weeks, but the team may be better off with him rather than Justin Fields. With Dalton as the starter, the team was 1-1 while Fields is 2-6 with five straight losses.
The game will begin at 12:30 p.m. EST and can be seen on FOX.
