Bet365 - FanDuel

  • Bet365 is launching a new sports betting news website covering sports and betting.
  • FanDuel is rebranding TVG as FanDuel TV, a new sports betting network.

NEW YORK – Popular sportsbooks are entering the sports betting media department as bet365 is set to launch a sports betting news website and FanDuel is launching a sports betting network.

FanDuel’s network will rebrand TVG, a horse racing betting channel, into FanDuel TV. This network will be a watch-to-wager TV network.

Bet365’s news network will be available in several languages and “will feature game previews, reviews, exclusive interviews, and betting tips“.

Bet365 Sports Betting Website

According to James Clark, the Sports and Betting News manager at bet365, the website will be launching in the coming months.

“My team and I are lucky enough to be part of an exciting transformation here at bet365,” wrote Clark on a Linkedin blog post about the website. “Colleagues across the business are working hard designing and developing a new Sports and Betting News website that will operate across a variety of languages. In the coming months, we’ll launch a new super smart, user-friendly platform, which customers around the globe will be able to use to read and hear about all the big sports events and betting news. As well as previews, reviews and betting tipsters, we’ll have exclusive interviews, tailored video content, and bespoke imagery across our sites.”

The website’s main focus will be to provide high-quality content for patrons. Bet365 is currently looking to add new employees for the website. They are actively recruiting content producers, analysts, and management positions.

FanDuel TV Incoming

FanDuel’s TVG rebrand will completely overtake the current network and affiliates. TVG will become FanDuel TV and TVG2 will become FanDuel Racing. The TVG OTT mobile app will convert to FanDuel+ as well.

The network is expected to be a major success as TVG is accessible in approximately 60 million homes in the US. Flutter Entertainment, FanDuel’s parent company purchased TVG for $50 million in 2009 and has built the brand up since.

FanDuel has been creeping into the sports media realm for some time, curating partnerships with Turner Sports, SportsGrid, and Pat McAfee. This deal is just another step in that process.
