Betting on Redbull Racing in the 2023 Canadian Grand Prix

MONTREAL – The 2023 Canadian Grand Prix is set to start on Sunday at 2 p.m. and Max Verstappen is the outright favorite to take first place. The Belgium racer already has five first place Grand Prix finishes under his belt in 2023.

Verstappen holds a 53 point lead in the race for the 2023 World Championship and is seeking his third straight title.

While Verstappen has -300 odds at legal sportsbooks, Lewis Hamilton can never be counted out of this annual race. Hamilton has won the Canadian Grand Prix a record seven times in his career.

But, his last win came in 2019, when Verstappen fell to fifth.

It is not just Hamilton that Verstappen has to look out for, however, as Sergio Perez is not playing around with +450 odds. Out of the seven races in the Formula 1 season, Verstappen has only lost two. He finished second in both of those F1 races as the runner up to teammate Perez.

Outside of the betting on the winner, legal sportsbooks with Formula 1 odds have props on the finishing position of the top racers in the event. Verstappen has not finished outside of the top two in 2023 while Perez has finished in the top two in four of the seven races.
