HOBOKEN, N.J. – Sports betting fans in New Jersey are seeing a shift in the market, as another sports betting exchange is set to launch.
Caesars Entertainment has partnered with Prophet Exchange to bring the second sports betting exchange to local NJ players with a goal to launch in time for the NFL and college football season.
This exchange will run in the New Jersey sports betting market and allow local bettors to cash in big on odds in a matter similar to Wall Street.

New Jersey has seen success with its already active sports betting exchange. Prophet went live in NJ in 2018 when PASPA was initially repealed.
Now with Caesars joining the fray, the market is expected to balloon even further. New Jersey is the perfect home for the betting exchange as it is the country leader in sports betting.
“We are delighted to announce our agreement with Caesars which will see Prophet launch for the 2021 football season,” said Dean Sisun. “Prophet is going to be the sports betting exchange of choice because of its simplicity and focus on sports betting principles. We are for the customers who want the best experience and prices on the market. Our customers will have the luxury of placing bets on spread and total markets at even (+100) odds, not being limited on any action, and also have the ability to create their own odds on markets offered. For example, if the spread on a game is -6, but you want -5.5, you can make that offer with Prophet. Same goes for both moneyline and total markets.”
Prophet has a strong history of promoting its innovative peer-to-peer sports betting exchange as it did so in the UK for years before entering the legal sports betting market in the USA.
Now the company will continue to push their exchange and are likely to see major success going forward. Caesars has continued to boom in the USA as well.
If success continues, sports betting exchanges could go live in other states with legal sports betting. This might be the beginning of a new trend.
