Island Resort & Casino Opens BetAmerica Sportsbook In Michigan

BetAmerica sportsbook is now accepting wagers at Island Resort and Casino in Harris, Michigan.

HARRIS, Mich. – Churchill Downs, Inc. has opened a BetAmerica Sportsbook location in Harris, Michigan at the Island Resort & Casino.

BetAmerica is Churchill Downs’ official platform for all sports wagering and iGaming that the company offers nationwide.

The grand opening of the newest expansion to the casino was held on Friday after a partnership was made between BetAmerica and the Hannahville Indian Community to open the first sportsbook in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

What Will The Sportsbook Offer Michiganders?

The new retail sports betting facility boasts 14 terminals for self-service wagers and two gambling windows where sports bettors can place bets with the help of staff members. All current professional sports taking place have lines available for wagers that patrons can enjoy.

Within the space, there are 25 televisions that allow for plenty of viewing options on various games happening simultaneously.

BetAmerica at the Island Resort & Casino also has the biggest TV wall in the area, giving customers the ultimate experience for watching the top matchups in sports on the “Big” screen.
