- Derrick Henry is projected at 18.12 fantasy points.
- Dak Prescott is projected 23.18 points.
- Tyreek Hill is projected 14.77 points.
DALLAS – As week 2 of the NFL season is set to begin, daily fantasy football owners are beginning to get their lineups together. Owners should be looking for players at a low value but have the ability to offer a high reward.
Legal betting sites offer great value players like Marquise “Hollywood” Brown available at $6,200.
This lineup is a projected lineup that should be edited to the owners liking.
Projected Lineup
- QB – Dak Prescott, Projected 23.18, $8,300
- RB – Derrick Henry, Projected 18.12, $8,300
- RB – Raheem Mostert, Projected 13.35, $6,500
- WR – Tyreek Hill, Projected 14.77, $8,000
- WR – Adam Thielen, Projected 12.41, $7,300
- WR – Marquise Brown, Projected 11.94, $6,200
- TE – Hayden Hurst, Projected 8.27, $5,700
- FLEX – Leonard Fournette, Projected 4.94, $6,000
- DEFENSE – Arizona Cardinals, Projected 8.4, $3,600
Starting with Dak Prescott, he had a decent Week 1 outing where he put up 266 yards and a touchdown against a 21 ranked Rams defense.
In Week 2, however, he is going up against the 32 ranked defense in the league, the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons defense allowed for Russell Wilson to go for 322 yards and four touchdowns in Week 1.
That being said Prescott is poised for a big game.
Looking at the running backs, Derrick Henry needs no introduction as he put on a great Week 1 show putting up 116 rushing yards on 31 carries.
Expect an even bigger performance in Week 2 as he faced the number 3 ranked, Jacksonville Jaguars.
As for Raheem Mostert, he also has a favorable matchup against a New York Jets team that hasn’t had any signs of life since the beginning of 2019. Mostert put up great numbers in Week 1 with 56 rush yards, 95 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown.
Moving on to the wide receivers, Tyreek Hill is expected to have a big performance in Week 2 after a quiet Week 1 outing and fantasy owners should expect things to turn around against the Chargers.
Adam Thielen is another candidate for a huge game in Week 2 as he had a great Week 1 performance. He had 110 yards and 2 touchdowns in Week 1 against the 22 ranked Packers and this week faces a favorable 25 ranked Indianapolis Colts.
Marquise “Hollywood” Brown offers great value as the WR1 for the Ravens as his price on daily fantasy sites is low enough to where he offers great value.
Brown had five receptions in Week 1 for 101 receiving yards and faces the 23 ranked Houston Texans pass defense in Week 2.
As for the tight end slot, Hayden Hurst should be the go-to guy at the position as he is on an Atlanta Falcons team that ranked first in tight end targets in 2019. Although he had a quiet Week 1, fantasy GM’s can expect a larger role for the newly acquired TE1.
The FLEX option is where owners can take a bit of a gamble and take their chances on Leonard Fournette. Fournette had a tough Week 1 outing against the 10 ranked New Orleans Saints defense that allowed him to go for just five yards.
Granted it was just his first game as a member of the Buccaneers, but in Week 2, he is facing the 31 ranked Carolina Panthers where he should be able to get the ball rolling.
Looking at the defense, the Arizona Cardinals should be on the radar as they are going up against the Washington Football Team. Although they won in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cardinals bring more to the table on defense as they showed in Week 1 during their win over the San Francisco 49ers.
While the NFL injury report is released, the lineup is all but clear for daily fantasy.
