DraftKings Becomes First Official Sportsbook Of The UFC

• DraftKings and the UFC have signed an exclusive partnership.
• The deal will make DraftKings the first official sportsbook and daily fantasy sports (DFS) provider of the UFC.

LAS VEGAS – The UFC has named DraftKings as their official exclusive sportsbook after signing its first-ever sports betting deal of the sort with the popular sportsbook operator.

The deal will see UFC matches promoted directly on the DraftKings app, with weekly free-to-play UFC games and exclusive UFC prop bets available only through DraftKings.

The deal will also see in broadcast odds integration during UFC matches that will show DraftKings odds. Daily fantasy sports (DFS) will also see UFC branding on the DraftKings app using exclusive UFC marks and logos.

When players bet on the UFC with DraftKings, they will now have access to a slew of betting lines only available via the popular sportsbook.

Not only the unique prop bets designed by DraftKings and the UFC but the previously mentioned free-to-play UFC games will see players sign on to win from a pool of $10,000 in cash and other prizes. Fans will not need to spend any real money to participate in this free-to-play UFC pool.

The UFC is hoping that events like this will increase fan engagement during fights, as well as promote to a new audience.

“This is a massive deal that will benefit UFC, DraftKings, and most of all the fans,” said Dana White, President of the UFC. “DraftKings is the best at what they do in the betting and daily fantasy space, and unlike other sports, UFC has no off season. The action will be non-stop for fans of UFC and DraftKings. This is the most important deal we’ve ever done to increase engagement with our fans and reach new ones, and I’m looking forward to all the exciting things we’re going to do with DraftKings over the next few years.”

Since the UFC have several events throughout the year, the action will be available constantly. With DraftKings promoting each match throughout their site from both the sportsbooks and the DFS side, fan engagement is assumed to grow moving forward.

A deal like this further cements DraftKings as a major staple in the legal sports betting world. The promotions as well as the free-to-play $10,000 UFC pool are already available for DraftKings users.
