DraftKings Becomes Official Betting Partner of the PGA TOUR

• DraftKings and PGA TOUR have announced a partnership that makes the sportsbook the official betting operator of the PGA TOUR.
• DraftKings will be getting many rights to video and content including the right to distribute PGA TOUR highlights to its users.
• The sportsbook can be accessed by fans and bettors in legal states on DraftKings website and app

BOSTON – DraftKings and PGA TOUR have announced they will be expanding on their marketing and content partnership with a new betting platform deal.

A year after DraftKings was named the official daily fantasy partner of the PGA TOUR, DraftKings is now the official betting operator of the PGA TOUR.

Since the repeal of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act in 2018, the TOUR created an integrity program to protect from betting-related corruption and has been working to establish platforms for PGA fans and bettors.

“The PGA TOUR couldn’t be more pleased with growing our collaboration with DraftKings,” said Norb Gambuzza, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President, Media and Gaming. “The growth in consumption and fan engagement we have seen over the last year in our DraftKings Daily Fantasy games has been tremendous. The expansion of the relationship to now include sports betting is a natural evolution and one which fully supports and promotes the PGA TOUR’s objectives of reaching and engaging new segments of fans while introducing them to our players, tournaments and media platforms.”

DraftKings now has rights in the US to use PGA TOUR trademarks as well as the ability to distribute official highlights to users who have placed bets with the sportsbook.

DraftKings will also have the right to advertise on PGA TOUR and its partner’s media platforms along with content and video rights that allows DraftKings Sportsbook to create pre and post-game legal sports betting programming.

Betting on the PGA TOUR has become the fourth most popular sport to wager on through the DraftKings sportsbook. The PGA TOUR DraftKings Fantasy Golf and DraftKings Sportsbook are both available in all legal states DraftKings is licensed in.
