MANCHESTER, N.H. – On Wednesday, DraftKings announced that they are planning to open another sportsbook in New Hampshire. The New sportsbook will have the ribbon-cutting ceremony take place on September 13.
With the opening of this second sportsbook, New Hampshire sports bettors will have two retail sportsbooks to choose from.
DraftKings In New Hampshire
This is not the first retail sportsbook that DraftKings has opened in New Hampshire. In August, DraftKings opened their first sportsbook in the state at the city of Seabrook. Not only that, but it was the first time New Hampshire opened a retail sportsbook in the state.
With this second sportsbook, DraftKings will now own the only two retail sportsbooks in New Hampshire.
In DraftKings style, the DraftKings Sportsbook in South Side Tavern has plenty of amenities available for customers. There are multiple self-serving sports betting kiosks for customers to place their bets. On top of that, there are wall to wall televisions available for customers to keep up with all of the games playing that day.
The South Side Tavern was voted to be one of New Hampshire’s best bar and restaurant for three years in a row. Thanks to that, customers have plenty of food and drinks to enjoy while they make their bets.
“Creating delightful and memorable experiences at South Side Tavern has been our pleasure, and we were thrilled to work with DraftKings and the New Hampshire Lottery to make DraftKings Sportsbook at Manchester a reality,” said Alex Anagnost, General Manager, Granite State Poker, the charitable game operator. “We believe the sportsbook will further cement us as a destination location for sports fans in Manchester and the surrounding areas – and we look forward to seeing regular and new faces alike.”
By working with DraftKings and New Hampshire Lottery, the South Side Tavern will become a key destination spot for Manchester. With that, more people in the state will be able to legally bet on sports than ever before.
