- ESPN Bet failed to list their rollover in their bonus terms and conditions.
- There is a 20x rollover with ESPN Bet’s bonus.
- There are also restrictions to what you can bet on with the bonus funds.
BRISTOL, Conn. – It hasn’t been all peaches and cream since ESPN launched their online sportsbook, ESPN Bet, and they are taking some heavy fire from their users regarding their bonus.
New users that are signing up for the legal sports betting site are eligible to earn up to $1,000 with their 100% first deposit match. While that might sound enticing, they failed to mention in the bonuses terms and conditions that there is a rollover requirement of 20x that you need to abide by before you can cash out.
Users are signing up and making $1,000 deposits and when they are going to collect their winnings, they aren’t able to without betting even more to meet the rollover requirement. To put into perspective on how much a user would need to bet to fulfill the rollover, at 20x on a 100% match on a $1,000 deposit, a whopping $20,000 is required to be played before cashing out.
Now, bettors aren’t required to take the sports betting bonus when signing up for ESPN Bet and if they knew that there was a 20x rollover that was required, it is safe to say that they would not have opted into using it.
In addition to not having the rollover listed in their terms and conditions, there are also restrictions on what can be bet on with the bonus funds. Nothing with odds stronger than -200 can be bet on with the bonus credits.
Users of ESPN Bet are not taking lightly to the situation either.
ESPNBet thinks they’re going to grab market share by requiring a 20x play through on deposit matches?
Yikes.

ESPN bet targeting fools with their launch. 20x rollover with deposit match. You’ll never be able to request a payout. Hold these books to a high standard and don’t fall for it.

Other users are taking to the App store claiming that they have been waiting weeks to be verified to begin betting and that their customer service has been lacking as well with the situation.
