DETROIT Detroit has a new retail sportsbook location right in time for the 2024 NFL Draft. The Hollywood Casino at Greektown officially opened their new ESPN BET branded sportsbook and restaurant.

The legal sports betting destination offers plenty of gaming and dining space across the 4,500 square foot location, including plenty of big screen TVs and sports betting kiosks. This marks the first ESPN Bet retail location in Detroit and expects to be a hotspot for fans and media travelling for the NFL Draft.

“We’re thrilled to announce that our market-leading sportsbook Hollywood Casino at Greektown will debut as the first ESPN BET-branded sportsbook in our portfolio,” said PENN Entertainment President and CEO Jay Snowden in a press release. “Together with ESPN, we look forward to expanding the ESPN BET brand with our premium retail sportsbooks and creating unique omni-channel experiences at key PENN properties across the country.”

Plenty Of ESPN Events Planned For Opening Week

With its timely launch, there will be many NFL Draft events at the new ESPN Bet-branded Hollywood Casino at Greektown. Prominent ESPN NFL analysts like Mina Kimes, Field Yates, Matt Miller, and Domonique Foxworth aired the “First Draft” podcast on Wednesday, but fans can still catch the “Unsportsmanlike” morning show with Evan Cohen, Chris Canty, and Michelle Smallmon for Thursday and Friday.

The venue will host ESPN Radio shows, ESPN BET Live, and also air hit segments from “Sportscenter” throughout the opening weekend. There will be plenty of NFL betting kiosks scatter throughout the property and even at ‘Rock Bar’ on the first floor.
