- The new FanDuel online casino is now available for residents in Pennsylvania.
- FanDuel’s mobile casino offers odds and ways to win on nearly 30 different games.
- In New Jersey, DraftKings also has launched its online casino.
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. – On Wednesday, the new FanDuel online casino became available for public use in Pennsylvania.
Retail casinos are at a complete standstill due to the COIVD-19 (coronavirus) pandemic shutting all retail casinos down. To help minimize loss of revenue, online casinos and sportsbooks are popping up in states like Pennsylvania.
FanDuel On The Rise
Ever since legal sports betting started in the United States, FanDuel has proven to be a giant in the U.S. market.
Their sportsbooks are available in multiple states across the country. Now they are looking to expand not only from daily fantasy sports (DFS), but they are stepping into the online casino market.
FanDuel able to do so thanks to the market in Pennsylvania.
“Pennsylvania is a really exciting state for us as it represents the first state where we’ve introduced FanDuel Casino alongside our FanDuel Sportsbook product,” said Jesse Chemtob, GM Casino, FanDuel Group. “We’ve seen great engagement and interest with our FanDuel Casino product amongst our sportsbook customers to date and we view this product evolution as a natural next step to provide a full-service gaming experience to our Pennsylvania customers.”
Pennsylvania sports betting is one of the strongest sports betting markets in the country.
The state has mobile sports betting available and it allows for remote registration. Thanks to that, the betting has not stopped in Pennsylvania with action being taken on more niche sports leagues.
It will be the same story for FanDuel’s online casino. Those who already have a FanDuel account can use their account to login to FanDuel’s online casino. Remote registration is available and gamblers must stay within state lines.
Much like the DraftKings new online casino in New Jersey, FanDuel has around 30 casino games to start, including games like blackjack and roulette.
FanDuel is planning to expand its casino offerings in the future and add more games.
DraftKings will likely do the same in New Jersey.
With sports leagues like MLB returning to play soon and with the addition of an online casino, bettors in Pennsylvania will have plenty of action available to them.
