PHILADELPHIA — With Week 14 of the NFL season coming to an end, it is time for those fantasy owners to begin scouting out the Waiver Wire for some value free agent targets.
There are value players at all positions on these fantasy football sites that can help any fantasy GM that is in the playoffs.
Value Targets
Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles, 17% Owned
Jeff Wilson, RB, 49ers, 19% Owned
Gabriel Davis, WR, Bills, 7% Owned
Anthony Firkser, TE, Titans, 5% Owned
Lynn Bowden Jr, RB/WR, Dolphins, 1% Owned
Jalen Hurts
Jalen Hurts should be at the top of fantasy GMs lists if they are in need of a quarterback or opt to stream a quarterback weekly. Hurts started his first game in Week 14 against the New Orleans Saints and absolutely put on a show as he went for 167 pass yards, one passing touchdown along with 106 rush yards which were good for 19.28 fantasy points.
Where fantasy owners can feel at ease here is the fact that his remaining two games on the fantasy schedule come against weaker opponents in the 12th ranked Cardinals and the 10th ranked Dallas Cowboys defense.
Being that Hurts is a threat both in the air and on the ground, he could certainly add value for these last two weeks both from a fantasy standpoint and from a betting standpoint as he could certainly hit his overs for his game totals on legal betting sites.
Jeff Wilson
Jeff Wilson has been gaining more and more rushing attempts by the week and has been taking advantage of them. In his last two games, he saw seven and eleven rush attempts in which he went for 6.9 and 8.9 fantasy points.
He is making a statement for the San Francisco 49ers official RB2 and could certainly carry that role confidently. Also, Wilson has a great upcoming schedule against the bottom 15 teams against the run which makes his value in deeper leagues great.
Gabriel Davis
Gabriel Davis has been on an absolute tear in his last three games as he has gone for 15.4, 14.3, and 9.4 fantasy points. He has marked himself as the sure WR3 for the Buffalo Bills as John Brown went down not long ago and was placed on IR.
With many receivers going down across the league, Davis could be added with confidence in all formats and could be fired up as well.
Anthony Fisker
Anthony Fikser is a bit of a stretch target here in a tight end position that has been struggling all season long. He was and still is sitting behind Jonnu Smith on the depth chart but has been getting his fair share of field time as in two of his last four games he has seen five or more targets in both of those games. He is definitely worth taking a flyer on especially since Jonnu Smith has been inconsistent over the past few weeks.
Lynn Bowden
Lynn Bowden would be a great pickup as he offers tremendous value being that he is listed as both a wide receiver and a running back on all fantasy football formats. Being that the Miami Dolphins were hit with injuries to their star wide receiver, DeVante Parker and have also placed their RB1, Myles Gaskin on the COVID-19 list in Week 14, Bowden could prove his value at both positions.
