SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – As Arizona moves closer to launching regulated betting, another Arizona sporting entity has partnered with a prominent sports betting operation.
The Fiesta Bowl Organization and Caesars Entertainment have officially joined forces for an exclusive sports betting and fantasy gaming partnership.
This is the first time a college football Bowl game has partnered with a sports betting entity, showing the growth of college football betting in the market.
Fiesta Bowl Meets Caesars Sports
This partnership’s main goal is to increase fan engagement and push the newly legal sports betting market in Arizona forward as this will be the first year local bettors can wager on the Fiesta Bowl at regulated sportsbooks.
“This is a new frontier in the college football space, and the Fiesta Bowl is again out in front with this fan-focused partnership,” said Jose Moreno, Fiesta Bowl Chief Marketing Officer. “There was significant interest in the marketplace to partner with the Fiesta Bowl; where Caesars stood out was with its similar community mindset and a creativity toward setting a new standard. We are teaming with an industry leader who is dedicated to working with us to elevate our offerings for college football and all sports fans across Arizona.”
This is a multi-year partnership that will see college betting fans able to place action directly at the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl stadiums.
Caesars is also the new official sponsor for the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl pregame party and the annual Arizona Bank & Trust Fiesta Bowl Kickoff Luncheon. Both these events run ahead of the Fiesta Bowl.
“We’re thrilled to work with the Fiesta Bowl Organization on this landmark partnership to bring college football fans closer to the game and build awareness around the importance of responsible gaming practices,” said Dan Shapiro, Chief Development Officer of Caesars Digital. “These fans are unrivaled in their passion, and we look forward to offering Caesars Sportsbook to them this fall. Our offering provides a leading user experience where every wager gives players more through our award-winning Caesars Rewards.”
Caesars Sports In Arizona
Caesars Sports has truly been expanding its footprint into the Arizona sports betting market. In addition to this new venture, Caesars has partnered with the Arizona Diamondbacks, allowing the sportsbook to launch its mobile betting app and a retail operation in the Chase Field Stadium and go live on September 9, when Arizona’s market officially launches.
These moves will only help solidify Arizona as a powerhouse in the southwest once everything official goes live.
