Online Sports Betting In MI
In Michigan, sports gambling has yet to be officially legalized. Former Governor Rick Snyder vetoed iGaming bill MI H 4926 which would have legalized online sports betting for the state. Now, Rep. Brandt Iden has announced plans to introduce a new sports wagering bill that would address not just internet sports betting, but actual brick and mortar sports betting lounges within the state. The state of Michigan already has almost 30 tribal casinos and three commercial casinos that could all expand upon their business with legalized sports betting.
If future sports betting proposals come to fruition, Michigan sports fans will not have to rely solely on a social sports gambling experience.
