ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Kindred Group has launched a new online sportsbook named Unibet on Tuesday.
The Kindred Group is partners with the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City. This is Kindred Group’s first online sportsbook in the United States. This has come three months after the group launched their online casino.
“We are very excited to launch our first sportsbook in the US and being able to give our customers in New Jersey a first-class sports betting experience. To be able to do this in partnership with a brand as strong as Hard Rock Hotel & Casino who share our vision to be a leader in the US market is a great feeling,” said Manuel Stan, SVP Kindred US.
The Kindred Group was able to do this with Kambi as their sportsbook supplier. The two companies have worked together for more than two decades in both Europe and Australia. The group continues to say that they believe that the United States could be the biggest legal sports betting market in the world.
Thanks to the successful launch of Unibet, New Jersey has 17 online sportsbooks. As more sportsbooks become added, the availability of New Jersey sports betting increases. The state is now one step closer to having 20 different online sportsbooks.
The Kindred Group does not plan on stopping there. Now that they have launched Unibet, the company wants to increase its presence in the US. The group is making plans to launch next in Pennsylvania. They will do so through their partnership with the Mohegan Sun Casino.
