Holloway Heavily Favored Over Rodriguez On UFC Fight Night

• Max Holloway has -700 odds to beat Yair Rodriguez.
• Ben Rothwell is favored to beat Marcos Rogerio De Lima with -165 odds.

LAS VEGAS – This week’s UFC Fight Night card is in for a treat as Max Holloway will return to the Octagon to take on Yair Rodriguez for a featherweight main event.

Main Event: Holloway Vs. Rodriguez

There should be no doubts as to why legal online betting sites have Holloway listed as the heavy favorite being that he is the number one ranked featherweight behind the champion, Alexander Volkanovski.

His opponent, Yair Rodriguez, has not fought since 2019.

It is also worth noting that although with a shaky 2-3 record in his last five fights, Holloway has gained some valuable experience against fighters such as the champion Volkanovski twice, Dustin Poirier, and Frankie Edgar.

As for Rodriguez, he has not fought a ranked opponent since his 2018 bout with Chan Sung Jung, who at the time was not even ranked.

Overall, with 10 knockouts and two submission wins, Holloway should not be taken to win at any cost, especially with a potential title fight on the line.

Co-Main Event: Rothwell Vs. De Lima

Ben Rothwell’s UFC odds are slightly favored being that he is one of the hardest-hitting heavyweights on the roster. In his 39 wins, an impressive 22 have come by knockout while another 13 were by way of submission.

Marcos Rogerio De Lima’s 15 of 18 wins have come by KO or Submission, but Rothwell has the advantage on experience with 52 pro fights to his 27.

Rothwell has also won three of his last four fights with one coming by KO, one by submission, and one by decision. De Lima is 2-2 in his last four with both losses coming by submission.
