INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers and PointsBet Sportsbook have partnered for a major deal that makes PointsBet the official sports betting partner of the Pacers.
The deal will bring PointsBet branding to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, including branding alongside the apron of the out-of-bounds spaces. This is the first time a sportsbook will advertise its brand on the side of the basketball court.
The partnership has both the global sportsbook and the NBA team excited for the future, with more sports betting integrations planned for the future.
PointsBet Meets Pacers
Those betting on NBA in Indiana will see the biggest benefits to the partnership between the Pacers and PointsBet. This includes deals like the $100 sign-on bonus for new users who enter the promo code PACERS.

The partnership is looking to increase fan engagement through sports betting, further integrating gambling with the sports world.
“This corporate partnership with PointsBet represents a real win for both companies,” said Rick Fuson, Pacers Sports & Entertainment president, and COO. “We look forward to welcoming them in as a very visible brand at the Fieldhouse and through our various channels.”
The partnership is mutually beneficial to both the pacers and the PointsBet Sportsbook. In addition to the Welcome Bonus, more bonuses and promotions are planned for the future.
These are said to benefit both new and returning PointsBet members, though no specific details have been made about the promotions as of yet.
Pacers fans will notice all the new branding and sports-betting integration once the 2020-2021 season starts.
“PointsBet was thrilled to unveil the fastest sports betting app in Indiana earlier this year, powered by our best-in-market proprietary technology, premium brand mentality, and clear points of difference via our product features that bettors can’t get elsewhere,” said Johnny Aitken, PointsBet USA CEO. “Indiana represents a massive opportunity for PointsBet, and we will take a heavily localized approach to ensure we are delivering the best overall customer experience Indiana sports fans and bettors are seeking. We are very excited to bolster our presence within the Hoosier State and surrounding areas, as well as to Indiana Pacers fans around the globe via this unique partnership, working collaboratively with a first-class organization to enhance the NBA fan experience and excitement created within venue or watching at home.”
PointsBet has been curating deals aggressively recently. Earlier in the year PointsBet partnered with the NBA to bring its betting software to the NBA’s digital platform.
Legal sports betting and the NBA have become more of a normalized relationship over time. The trajectory shows that the integrations will only continue.
The Pacers and PointsBet deal may not be the last sportsbook and NBA team partnership that is announced before the start of the next season.
