Intralot Expands Maltese Menu With Virtual Soccer Betting

MALTA – Intralot has announced that they are now going to offer E*SOCCER betting at their Maltese subsidiary in the near future.

Intralot has a subsidiary in Malta named Maltco Lotteries. Maltco Lotteries offers legal sports betting through their U*BET app.

Now the company in Malta will be able to expand its menu to offer virtual sports betting options. E*SOCCER betting will now be available through Maltco Lotteries.

E*SOCCER betting allows sports bettors to wager on simulated soccer matches. Soccer matches are going to be simulated through the FIFA20 video game. Simulated games will be available daily, giving sports bettors multiple chances to bet on games. The E*SOCCER betting will be powered by Sportradar.

The simulated soccer matches are not going to be from a single league. Thanks to FIFA20, Sportradar can simulate matches from many different leagues and even offer cross-league action. That gives E*SOCCER bettors a near-endless supply of virtual soccer bets that they can make.

The plan is that once more coronavirus restrictions are lifted, Maltco Lotteries will fully integrate E*SOCCER betting to their sportsbook. Although virtual sports betting is not particularly popular in the west, Intralot sees the benefit of having it available during the global pandemic while sports leagues are down.

This could especially be true if sports leagues are forced to be further delayed or even canceled due to the high number of cases in the country.
