- Other props include Joe Ingles to make three or more three-pointers at +110, and Nikola Jokic to drain two threes at +127.
ORLANDO, Fla. – The NBA Playoffs continue Friday afternoon from the bubble in Orlando with a terrific set of pivotal Game 3 matchups.
One of the most competitive series so far has been the Utah Jazz against the Denver Nuggets.
The Nuggets were able to scrape out a win in overtime in Game 1 but were outclassed from the tipoff by Utah in Game 2 to even up the series.
Now, both teams look to gain the advantage in Friday’s rubber match and take the series into their own hands.
Those looking to wager on the event have plenty of opportunities to do so. There is plenty of money to make on basketball point spread betting but there is also some value in a few key player prop bets.
Donovan Mitchell – Total Points
- 27+ (-114)
The first prop that jumps off of the table is one available for Jazz star Donovan Mitchell to score over 27 points at -114 odds.
Mitchell is the catalyst to the entire Jazz offense. Without him, there is zero chance the Jazz win this series or even this game.
In the first two games of this series, Mitchell scored 57 and then 30 points. The former was a career-high and still resulted in a loss for Utah.
The Nuggets really have no answer for Mitchell, which is why this bet has great value.
Jamal Murray – Total Points
- 21+ (-118)
On the flip side of the first prop, we find Denver guard Jamal Murray’s points available at 21 for -118 odds.
Murray was instrumental in the Nuggets overtime win in Game 1. He made shot after shot to seal the win in the extra period, scoring 36 points and hitting six threes.
Unfortunately, the production did not continue into Game 2 where Murray went 6-13 and scored only 14 in the loss.
The legal sports bet that is smart here is to take the over on 21 points for Murray as he looks to bounce back in Game 3.
The Nuggets know that they need Murray in order to be successful. Look for him to come out angry in Friday’s game.
The next two prop bets feature two players that love to capitalize on the long ball, Nikola Jokic and Joe Ingles.
Nikola Jokic – Total Three-Pointers Made
- 2+ (+127)
Jokic is the talisman of this entire Nuggets team and can truly do everything on the court from the center position. That includes nail shots from long range, which the big man does at an impressive clip for his position at 33.8%.
In the first game against the Jazz, Jokic went 4-7 from behind the arc, including this one to seal the game in overtime.

In Game 2 he only went 1-2 in a low scoring loss. Look for Jokic to hit at least one more three and hit the 2+ prop easily in Friday’s game.
On the other side of the court, we have perennial playoff surprise star Joe Ingles.
Joe Ingles – Three-Pointers Made
- 3+ (+110)
This bet was one of the most surprising ones available on the board due to Ingles proficiency as a long-range shooter.
Ingles has few jobs on the court more important than knocking down threes and has done so at an impressive rate so far in the first two games.
Ingles hit five deep shots in Game 1, followed by four more in Game 2. In the absence of Bojan Bogdanovic, the Jazz have had to find scoring from other sources, namely Ingles.
Look for Joe to hit his shots once again on Friday.
The final prop bet offers a combined point plus rebounds and assists line on Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson.
Jordan Clarkson – Pts + Reb + Ast
- 27+ (+104)
Clarkson has been on a few different teams in his relatively short career but might have found the best fit with the Utah Jazz.
To say Clarkson has made an impact on this series would be a detriment to the work he has put in to be able to come in and perform so well when asked to by his coach
Clarkson scored 18 off the bench in Game 1 and followed that up with 26 in Game 2. His PRA line for that game was 33.
The Jazz need someone like Clarkson to step up, and Friday’s Game 3 is the perfect opportunity to do so once again.
Regardless of which prop bet catches the eye of basketball bettors, Friday’s game is sure to be another epic chapter in an already great series.
