Restrictions of this bet type focus both on the university within Iowa as well as their competition but this prohibition only is set for college betting. In-game player prop bets on professional sports are permitted.

Looking forward, the next Iowa casinos prepared to launch sports betting are Harrah’s Council Bluffs Hotel & Casino and Horseshoe Council Bluffs on August 23. The latter will feature hometown athletes Terence Crawford and Eric Crouch for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Grand Falls is currently undergoing renovations that will include a physical sportsbook.
