MAUI – The Maui Invitational starts today with a loaded bracket which includes four top-10 teams playing across Thanksgiving week. Starting on Monday all of those teams are in action including the #2 UConn Huskies, #4 Auburn Tigers, #5 Iowa State Cyclones, and #10 North Carolina Tar Heels.

Right here, we’ll get into the odds on legal sports betting sites for each game on Monday as well as our betting picks for each game.

#2 UConn vs. Memphis

  • Moneyline: UConn (-500) vs. Memphis (+360)
  • Spread: UConn -8.5
  • Total: 150.5

In the early window, UConn, the preseason Maui Invitational favorite, is just an 8.5-point favorite over Memphis. Anyone that has been keeping a close eye on the Huskies this season know that this is too little of a margin for them.

They are currently 3-1 against the spread this season and averaging a nation leading +37.8 winning margin thus far. While Memphis is a respectable program at a 4-0 record, they’ve barley gotten by in three of those games winning by eight points or less.

UConn outperforms Memphis in every category across the board including a top-3 defense that has allowed just 51 ppg to opponents this season. That said, back the Huskies in a rare single digit spreadl.

  • Pick: UConn -8.5

#4 Auburn vs. #5 Iowa State

  • Moneyline: Auburn (-195) vs. Iowa State (+165)
  • Spread: Auburn -4 (-115)
  • Total: 146.5

In what is the biggest game of the day, bettors can expect a defensive minded battle which should have them leaning towards the under on the point total on CBB sportsbooks. While it’s easy to look at each of their offenses and think they’ll fly over, these are two of the top defenses in the country. Iowa State especially, as they allow just 50.7 ppg. Auburn is also in that range as their opponents are averaging just 59.3 ppg.

Both of them play at slower paces as well ranking above 215 in the country in terms of pace of play. Iowa State on average sees roughly 71 possessions per game while Auburn is right there as well at 69.5.

Iowa State has yet to hit an over in points yet this season while Auburn is 2-2 staying under twice in three games with a total in the 140s and under a 146.5 total three times.

  • Pick: Auburn/Iowa State Under 146.5

#10 North Carolina vs. Dayton

  • Moneyline: North Carolina (-360) vs. Dayton (+280)
  • Spread: North Carolina -8 (-105)
  • Total: 155

In the night cap, two power offenses in North Carolina and Dayton could cash the over and quickly. The Tar Heels are a perfect 4-0 going over in points this season while Dayton is 3-1. North Carolina should lead the pace today which is a quick one as they are in the top-50 in possessions per game at 75.5 and are averaging a massive 94.3 ppg off of those possessions.

On defense, this Tar Heels defense isnt as strong as in recent years as they allow 73 ppg to this point which is the highest points allowed per game in the last four years for them.

Dayton should be able to hold their own against UNC here as their 77 ppg mark falls in line with what the Heels are allowing per game.

  • Pick: North Carolina/Dayton Over 155
