Dallas Cowboys Vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
- Moneyline: Steelers -120, Cowboys EVEN
- Spread: Steelers -1.5
- Totals: Over/Under 33.5
With Dak returning to the roster, there may be some growing pains as the QB has not played in a game in over 6 months due to injury.
The last time Prescott was on the field; however, he was having a career season, leading the league in passing yards through five weeks which was still the case in Week 7 despite Dak being out due to injury.
The Cowboys Offense will consist of Dak at QB throwing to CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, and Michael Gallup. Add TE Blake Jarwin to the mix and the Cowboys appear to have a formidable offense heading into the matchup with the Steelers.
Lamb in particular is coming off of a rookie season where he saw 935 yards on 74 REC with 5 TDs and 12.6 yards per reception. He achieved this feat without his starting QB as well as an injured offensive line.
The young star has already been impressing coaches at practice, making trick catches and showcasing how versatile his body movement is.

“Obviously, last year with the compressed offseason, he played a lot in the slot and obviously we want to move him around a lot more,” said Kellen Moore, Cowboys offensive coordinator. “So, hopefully, that provides us with the versatility to put those guys around in different positions, create matchups, and put guys where we want them to be to hopefully be successful. CeeDee is one of those guys. He is going to play all over the field. He is going to line up everywhere across the field and we are going to have fun doing it.”
Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers have seen a lot of changes in their offseason that could be exploited by the Cowboys.
The Steelers saw the retirement of LB Vince Williams, the release of G David DeCastro, and the retirement of C Maurkice Pouncey during the offseason. Pittsburgh has held their hat on their defense but the new defensive line will have to adjust to these changes.
The team also signed a slew of new players on both defense and offense that will likely take a while to fully adjust, giving the advantage to the Cowboys whose core is mostly the same.
Betting on the underdog Cowboys who has more team synergy despite a QB recovering from injury could net bigger returns for NFL betting fans.
