Cincinnati Injury Troubles

The Bengals sitting QB Joe Burrow is no surprise. The young star QB is coming off of an ACL injury and team owner Mike Brown has expressed that he does not want their franchise QB playing in any preseason games.

Also recovering from an ACL is C Trey Hopkins who has also been announced to not be playing this weekend alongside OT Fred Johnson and DT Larry Ogunjobi. The Bengals team was beaten up badly last season so these precautions are unsurprising.

Betting fans who were thinking about taking the Bengals to pull the upset may be better off taking the totals. With the offense essentially out, and the Buccaneers playing their main defensive unit, this might be the perfect game to wager on the under.

Meanwhile in Tampa, the Buccaneers are looking to get in midseason form early as they play for a potential repeat. Not only is star QB Tom Brady playing, but the entire lineup will be playing in this preseason matchup.

Buccaneers betting fans should also look for the Bucs to cover the spread. The defending Super Bowl Champions will essentially be going up against backups on a bad team so the winning margin should be big.
