- Wisconsin will celebrate their third anniversary with regulated sports betting on Saturday.

- Many residents eagerly wait regulated online sports betting in Wisconsin after seeing revenue numbers in Michigan.
GREEN BAY, Wisc. – Saturday marks the third anniversary of regulated sports betting in the Badger State. Wisconsin launched legal sports betting on Nov. 30, 2021, and the best way to celebrate beforehand is to bet on the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving.
The state currently only offers retail sports betting at only a few locations with the Oneida Casino in Green Bay and the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee being the leaders. Both locations claim to have “online sports betting”, but it’s really just betting from your phone when on the casino property.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any revenue statistics for the success of the Oneida Sportsbook in their three years of operation. As for the entirety of the casinos, Wisconsin Native American tribes brought in more than $1 billion in net annual revenue from roughly two dozen casinos in the state.
Although they have nearly twice as many people, Michigan is proof that Wisconsin is missing out on roughly $20 million in monthly revenue from sports betting. Michigan residents bet $560.4 million in October alone, resulting in $33 million in revenue.
Regulated online sports betting feels inevitable for the Badger State, but until then Bovada is the best option to legally bet online in Wisconsin. The Packers are 3.0-point legal Wisconsin sports betting favorites on Thanksgiving night against the Miami Dolphins.
Bet on Green Bay For Wisconsin’s Third Sports Betting Anniversary
Most Thanksgiving betting trends work in the Packers favor as the primetime favorite is 13-4 against the spread in the last 17 holiday games. Thanksgiving favorites won 48 of 57 games outright and are 39-19 against the spread since 2004.
