LOS ANGELES – Tiger Woods’ last major golf tournament played was the Masters from November 12 to November 15 of 2020. Shortly after in February, Woods was involved in a major car accident in Southern California in which he suffered a serious leg injury that has kept him out of action.
With that, legal betting sites have laid out a timeline of odds for when Woods will return to playing golf. Currently, Woods is favored to play in a 2022 PGA Tournament match.

- Yes -175
Will Tiger Woods Play A Major In 2022?

Road To Recovery
Although Woods has been ramping up his rehabilitation, there has been no target date set yet for his return. Woods recently shared a video of himself back on the course hitting shots which is a good indication that he is nearing a return.

The window for Woods to play in the PGA Tour is wide open as the season started in September and will finish on August 28, 2022. This would allow for Woods to return at any point of the tour until then and the fact that he is already back on the golf course should make his PGA odds of playing in the tour much more enticing.
While his odds to play in the Masters would offer the biggest payout of his three prop bets, the smartest bet to make would be on him playing in one of the majors. Because the Masters is the first of the four major tournaments (played in April), there might not be enough time for Woods to finish his rehab.
That being said, a good profit could still be made betting on Woods’ odds to both play in the PGA Tour and in one of the four majors.
