Oddsmakers List Full Prop Bets Ahead Of Belmont Stakes

ELMONT, N.Y. – The Belmont Stakes is one of the most prestigious sporting events of the year and is officially ready to run on Saturday.

Horse racing bettors can breathe a sigh of relief that their favorite pastime has very appealing odds to work with.

Full race odds are available but the prop bets for the Belmont Stakes are also popping up, providing a more obscure take on the race results.

Tiz The Law is the running favorite here at -135 after previously winning the Grade 1 Champagne at Belmont Park last October. Tiz The Law has won four of his five races to start his career including a two-race win streak entering Saturday.

Behind him in the odds is Tap It To Win who comes in with +600 to win.

However, with Tiz The Law having one of the fastest track speeds in his last event at Belmont Park, it could be worth a flier pick.

A similar thought process works for the next prop bet as well.

Since the Belmont Stakes is being run at a shorter length than usual, the track record to beat this weekend will not be the usual 1 and ½ mile time.

Instead, the track record to beat will be the 1- and 1/8-mile time, meaning all of the best horses in the world over the years haven’t been competing for this specific record.

Nevertheless, it would take an otherworldly effort from Tiz The Law to cement himself in the history books at Belmont Park and on the legal sports betting sites.
