Online Sports Betting in Kentucky Launches Tomorrow at 6 AM

FRANFORT, Ky. – Kentucky online sports betting launches on Thursday, just six months after Governor Andy Beshear signed the state’s sports betting bill. Beshear and Team Kentucky made incredible progress in preparation for a full legal sports betting in the Bluegrass State.

In the six months since Beshear signed House Bill 551 into law, Team Kentucky expedited their launch progress with emergency regulations and administration.

• Began administering the Kentucky Problem Gambling Assistance account
• Released sports betting FAQs to educate future bettors
• Approved licenses of eight sports betting operators
• Approved and updated their sports betting catalog prior to online launch
• Launched retail sports betting

To cap it all off, Kentucky sports betting is coming to mobile devices on Thursday thanks to Beshear and Tema Kentucky’s hard work. Residents can register from their choices of Barstool Sportsbook, Bet365, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, Fanatics, or FanDuel.

But, plenty of patient Kentucky sports betting fans may have already pre-registered for their online sportsbook when retail betting launched in the state on September 7.
