BRISTOL, Conn. – ESPN Bet has a planned launch for Nov. 14, according to PENN Entertainment, ESPN, and The Walt Disney Company. The sports betting partnership between ESPN and PENN was officially announced at PENN Entertainment’s 2023 earnings report for Q3 on Thursday morning.
The legal sports betting collaboration between PENN Entertainment and ESPN officially has a planned launch date after the partnership was announced in August.
During the initial announcement, PENN Entertainment CEO Jay Snowden claimed they would launch the sports betting product before Thanksgiving. He kept his word and will debut ESPN BET on an incredible weekend for college football betting and the NFL.
“We are extremely excited to announce the planned launch of ESPN BET prior to the active Thanksgiving week sports calendar that includes the NCAA college football rivalry week and the Super Bowl rematch of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles televised on ESPN’s Monday Night Football,” said Snowden at PENN’s third quarter results conference.

The Walt Disney Company and ESPN officially confirmed the planned announcement for ESPN BET, which will go live in 17 states.
