PGA TOUR Signs Deal To Make BetMGM An Official Betting Partner

• BetMGM has become an official betting operator of the PGA Tour.
• The multiyear agreement gives BetMGM marketing and content rights as BetMGM joins DraftKings as a part of the TOUR’s official betting operator.
• BetMGM is licensed to offer sports betting in eight states currently and is working to be in eleven by the end of 2020.

LAS VEGAS – BetMGM announced the signing of an agreement that makes them an official betting operator of the PGA TOUR on Monday.

The multi-year marketing and content relationship will give BetMGM the rights to advertise within PGA TOUR partner platforms and media along with the rights to use TOUR’s marks.

As a part of the TOUR’s official betting operator program, the sportsbook has content and video rights that allow the platform to create pre-games and post-game betting programs.

“BetMGM is part of a premium brand that is deeply connected to golf through sponsorship of various PGA TOUR players and tournaments,” said Norb Gambuzza, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President, Media and Gaming in a released statement. “Through the power of the BetMGM brand and resources, this new relationship will help accelerate our sports betting strategy, and enable the TOUR to reach new fans and further engage current fans who enjoy betting on golf.”

PGA Tour is becoming a very popular sport with US sportsbook as the TOUR announced the addition of Draftkings as an official betting operator as well last month.

BetMGM is currently licensed to offer legal sports betting in New Jersey, Michigan, Colorado, Mississippi, Indiana, Nevada, and West Virginia.

The BetMGM sportsbook is available as a mobile app and offers the latest betting odds in the states that the sportsbook is licensed. The company plans to be in eleven states by the end of the year.
