Political Betting Odds Now Posted On Who Trump Will Pardon Next

• Paul Manafort has the shortest odds at -400 to be the next person Donald Trump Pardons before Jan. 21, 2021.
• Trump most recently pardoned his former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.
• Since taking office President Trump has pardoned or commuted convictions of 45 people.

WASHINGTON – The 2020 US Presidential Election has entered the rearview mirror as Joe Biden has emerged as the winner and will be inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States on January 21, 2021.

Although President Trump has been challenging the results of the election in courts to no avail, the January 21st date will likely be his last day in office.

While Trump is now in the lame-duck state as President, one power he does still have is the ability to pardon or commute convictions as he sees fit. In late November, Trump pardoned his former National Security Advisor and former general Michael Flynn as he pled guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russia.

While in office, Trump has pardoned 45 people and in the waning days of his presidency, he could be issuing more commutations. Bovada has posted betting odds on who will be pardoned by President Trump before January 21, 2021.

Glancing over the odds Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort is serving a 7.5-year sentence from charges from the special counsel Robert Mueller. Has already been released to home confinement due to COVID-19 outbreaks in federal prisons but with Trump exiting office he has the shortest odds at -400 to see his entire conviction pardoned.

After Manafort on the odds board, there’s a two-way tie at -350 odds between former Trump adviser George Papadopoulos who pled guilty to lying to federal agents, and Rick Gates another former Trump aide who played a significant role in the Muller investigation was sentenced to 45 days in jail and three years’ probation.

Papadopoulos has made it known that he would gladly accept a Presidential pardon from Trump before he vacates the White House.

Looking at the rest of the odds only former White House Chief Strategist Steven Bannon (-250) odds who was recently indicted on fraud charges over the Mexico wall funds and the president’s current head lawyer Rudy Giuliani (+150) are the only two other betting options worth making a dart throw on.

While a bet on Joe Exoctic would be fun and he has written a letter to Trump asking for a pardon, the likelihood of that happening is far less than those closest to Trump getting a final blessing from him.

As the days until Biden’s inauguration draw near and the 2020 US Presidential Election begins its final chapter, expect President Trump to give out more pardons. Be sure to take action on these political betting odds as soon as possible as the next pardon can happen at any time.
