Preseason College Basketball Conference Odds

• The North Carolina Tarheels are the preseason favorite to win the ACC with +140 odds and have a slight edge over Duke with +240 odds.
• While Kansas is the favorite to win the Big 12 in 2022-23 with +215 odds, Baylor and Texas are extremely close behind with short odds as well.
• The SEC is opening the 2022-23 season with five teams in the top 25 and Kentucky is the current favorite to win the conference with +180 odds.
• Iowa is looking to repeat as Big Ten Championship and has +600 odds but Indiana is the preseason favorite with +350 odds.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The 2022-23 college basketball season is officially kicking off and Bovada has preseason odds for every single team to win their conference. After making it to the 2022 March Madness Finals, North Carolina is leading the ACC odds at +140.

Betting on the ACC Championship

Even though North Carolina is the current favorite to win the ACC and is the number one team in the country, there are plenty of other teams with value for early-season betting. Virginia Tech ended up winning the 2021 ACC tournament with +1200 preseason odds, and Duke was the +250 favorite.

Injuries deflated the Florida State Seminoles’ 2021 season but they are expected to open the season strong in 2022 and have intriguing legal college basketball odds at +1600 to win the ACC.

No team has repeated as winners of the conference since Duke won it three years in a row from 2009 to 2011. However, NC has won back-to-back tournaments in the past, during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

The Big 12 could be one of the tighter conferences during the 2022-23 season, with four teams entering the season in the top 25. Even though Kanas is the reigning conference winner and Match Madness Champion, Kansas is only a slight favorite to win the conference with +215 odds.

Texas and TCU also have favorable odds at legal betting sites to come out on top in 2022-23 as the underdog for the conference.

Arkansas was the hottest SEC team during the 2022 March Madness tournament by making an Elite Eight performance and outlasting every other SEC team in the tournament. With the third shortest odds to win the 2022 SEC Championship, Arkansas has favorable betting odds.
