Professional Fighters League Signs Sports Betting Deal With DraftKings

• DraftKings has announced a partnership with the Professional Fighters League.
• This is the first sportsbook partnership for the PFL.

BOSTON — DraftKings Sportsbook and Daily Fantasy operator have taken a huge leap with their recent announcement of a partnership with the Professional Fighters League to become their official sports betting and daily fantasy provider.

This is a huge deal for both sides as DraftKings clearly gains more publicity in the legal sports betting world and in the MMA community the PFL gains that same publicity in the sports betting and daily fantasy sports industry.

This is a multi-year deal that both sides have agreed to here and some of the main details of the deal obviously include DraftKings hosting plenty of the PFL’s odds as well as daily fantasy sports contests. However, the PFL is bringing a new and efficient software to the table in their SmartCage technology.

What SmartCage technology is, is it bring bettors and fans real-time data as a fight is going on which will be able to tell bettors the speed of a punch or kick if a fighter will land their strike and even go as far as telling people the fighters calorie burn count and heart rate.

Other details about this partnership include having DraftKings apart the PFL’s broadcast on the different ESPN streaming networks as well as a pre-fight show that will be presented by DraftKings as well. DraftKings will also host PFL prize pools and Pick’Em games as well.
