Rangers Lead Tight Presidents’ Trophy Odds Race

NEW YORK – While the New York Rangers have the shortest odds to win the 2023-24 Presidents’ Trophy Award, there is no clear favorite with only a few weeks left in the regular season. The Rangers and the Vancouver Canucks are tied with the most points at 98 but NY holds the tiebreaker with more wins.

Right behind them, five teams are sitting at a solid 97 points. The top teams all have close odds at legal NHL betting sites, as the race should stay close.

Betting On The Favored Rangers

The Rangers are not only the favorite to win the award because they are currently in first place. The next two games for the Rangers are against the Flyers and the Avalanche. When looking at remaining schedules, the Rangers do have a seemingly easier path than the Panthers and the Canucks.

There have been seven occasions of a team winning back to back Presidents’ Trophy Awards but the Boston Bruins are still at the bottom of the odds boards for the top seven teams. While Boston has never won the award consecutively, they have won two since the 2019-2020 season.
