MANISTEE, Mich.Rush Street Interactive (RSI) continues to expand its presence in the United States after partnering with Little River Casino Resort in Manistee, Michigan.

RSI will offer its sports betting services to head up the casino’s sportsbook. In return, RSI’s affiliation with the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians in the Wolverine State awards them access to open an online sports betting platform in Michigan.

What The New Partners Have To Say

RSI is excited to be partnered with Little River Casino as they believe they can expand the establishment’s number of casino-goers by offering them a top of the line sports betting experience.

The casino plans to open their sportsbook by the start of NFL season.

“The Little River Band of Ottawa Indians has built an outstanding reputation and we are thrilled they have chosen RSI to be a part of that tradition,” said Richard Schwartz, President of Rush Street Interactive. “Being only a lakeshore away in Chicago, the Rush Street Interactive team views this partnership as an opportunity to help bring a property-wide lift to Little Rivers Casino Resort—from slots to tables to restaurants—thanks to the tremendous and growing popularity of sports wagering.”

As for the Little River Casino and the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, they are equally pleased with their newest venture. They have expressed that they are satisfied with having chosen RSI to take the lead with their sports betting sector of the casino.

It was the gaming company’s stellar reputation that made the choice an easy one for the facility.

“The successful track record of Rush Street Interactive as a provider of in-casino sportsbooks in Pennsylvania, New York and Illinois, was very significant to us when we chose them as our partner,” said Andrew Gentile, General Manager of Little River Casino Resort. “Rush Street’s ability to provide a road map of how they’ve enabled other land-based casinos to operate market-leading sportsbooks kept us from having to reinvent the wheel.”

When Can Michigan Expect To See Sports Betting From These Partners?

The retail location at Little River Casino Resort will be opening by the third quarter when there are more sports being played.

The mobile sports betting app by RSI and the casino needs to wait for Michigan to iron out the final details of mobile and online sports betting before they can be approved for a launch.

Brandings for both companies will be seen on the sports betting app.

The best estimate for a rollout of mobile sportsbooks to the public is early 2021. But until then, residents of Michigan can sign up for the application via the BetRivers site so they will have an account ready to go once the app is enabled.

Those that sign up now will be notified immediately when the mobile sportsbook goes live.

The wheels are turning for a legal sports betting market as more partnerships like this will continue to pop up, allowing gamblers of the Wolverine State more options to wager on games from all over.
