Soccer Tuesday: Odds for MLS Final, Europa League, and More

• Tuesday features plenty of soccer action across the world including the finals of the MLS is Back tournament between Orlando City (+145) and the Portland Timbers (+180).
• Other odds include two Europa League matches between Wolverhampton (+255) and Sevilla (+125), and Basel (+285) against FC Shakhtar Donetsk (-110).

LAS VEGAS – While some of the biggest soccer leagues in the world have wrapped up their seasons, some of the best competitions are just getting started.

In the case of European competition, the UEFA Europa and Champions Leagues are just hitting their stride with multiple matches today and throughout the week.

However, the biggest fixture of the day takes place stateside, where the MLS sees the end of their terrific ‘MLS is Back’ Tournament.

Tuesday will see the championship match between Orlando City and the Portland Timbers, with pride and glory on the line.

Betting lines are also available on who will win the trophy at the end of the night, in the case of the game going to penalties as so many have during the MLS is Back tournament.

The oddsmakers are expecting a close match tonight between two teams who many did not expect to be standing here back when the season resumed play.

Since then, both teams have only gone on to dominate the competition including wins over favorites LAFC and the Philadelphia Union.

Now, both teams will face their final challenge as they conclude soccer from the bubble tonight in what should be an outstanding match.

Elsewhere in the word, the UEFA Europa League is continuing its season with two quarterfinal matches Tuesday.

The first match features Premier League darlings Wolverhampton taking on La Liga side Sevilla.

Sevilla is the favorite here due to their current run of 18 straight matches unbeaten (W9, D9) across all competitions. They beat Roma 2-0 to reach this stage and look to continue their run to their sixth Europa League title.

The Wolves best shot will be getting star Raul Jimenez involved early and often in an attempt to outduel the Spanish club.

On the opposite side of the bracket, Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk take on Portuguese side Basel.

Shakhtar Donetsk look to continue their unbeaten run since the game resumed after the pandemic with a win tonight. Basel is sitting with the longer odds due to poor recent form that featured draws in four of their last six matches.

The final European matchup of the day comes from the preliminary qualifying rounds of the Champions League, where North Irish club Linfield attempts to keep the dream alive against FC Drita of Kosovo.

This is the final of the Champions League preliminary tournament that is contested between champions of the smaller leagues across the world. The winner of this mini-tournament will proceed to further qualification with the ultimate goal of playing in the Champions League.

Regardless of which clubs earn the support of soccer bettors Tuesday is shaping up to be another great day of betting opportunity.
