ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The numbers for Maryland’s second month of active sports betting are in, and they show an impressive boost in handle from the previous month.
Maryland Sports Betting Increase

According to a report from the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency, state-sanctioned sportsbooks in Maryland took in $32.5 million worth of sports wagers in January, this is a 96% increase from December’s handle.

- January 2022 Handle: $32,580,831
Live! Casino’s FanDuel sportsbook pulled the most sports betting revenue, taking in $7.1 million in sports wagers.
MGM National Harbor was a close second, after handling just over $6 million in bets.
