NBABet will be a 30-minute televised special on NBATV and will take place once a week before different NBA games. There will also be different social media platforms for NBABet as well such as on Instagram and Twitter where they can engage with different NBA bettors.
There will also be a downloadable application and website for the platform as well.
There will even be different contributors to the social media platform as well. Legal sports betting site, BetMGM will be one of the official partners of NBABet as they will contribute their odds to the platform.
Other betting contributors that will work with the app include Action Network, who will add programming to the different social media accounts and Bleacher Report, who will take the responsibility of the website.
It was only a matter of time before the NBA jumped in on the sports betting media platform as other leagues such as the NHL and MLB have already marked their names in the industry as well.
In fact, this is not the first time the NBA has been involved with the betting world as TNT has already started offering alternate broadcasting for NBA games which began for the Washington Wizards and Indiana Pacers Play-In game where they laid out different NBA odds and game trends throughout the game.
All in all, this is a huge step forward for the NBA as they look to continue growing their betting platform.
