Sportsbooks Now Offering Bets On President Trump’s Twitter Ban

NEW YORK – With everything currently going on in the nation, President Donald Trump likes to take to his Twitter account to speak on all of the issues in a very opinionated fashion. This has led to sportsbooks asking if the social media platform will allow him to continue.

Trump has been censored on Twitter countless times due to his tweets as well as many “Trumpers” or Republicans that post positive commentary about the President, yet photos of Trump that are graphic in nature remain up on other accounts.

Last week, Trump followed through with his threats to possibly ban social media if they continued their censorship on specific people by signing an executive order to prevent online censorship.

“My executive order calls for new regulations to make it that social media companies that engage in censoring or any political conduct will not be able to keep their liability shield,” said Trump.

Internet sportsbooks always keep up with current events for the purposes of betting and this news is too good to pass up for members to gamble on.

These bets can be found within the entertainment section, political section, or current event section of any sports betting platform.

Sports betting operators seem sure of President Trump not being banned or suspended from using his Twitter account.

One would have to assume that should he be, social media in itself would be banned for all U.S. citizens.

Trump is adamant that censorship online should not be allowed because in today’s society, the internet and its technology fall under freedom of speech, a right bestowed upon every American at birth.

“The choices that Twitter makes when it chooses to suppress, edit, blacklist, shadowban are editorial decisions, pure and simple, they’re editorial decisions,” said Trump on Wednesday. “In these moments Twitter ceases to be a neutral public platform and they become an editor with a viewpoint.”
