Super Bowl 55 Injury Report And The Last Minute Odds Shift

• Antonio Brown is listed as questionable for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
• Willie Gay was placed on the Chiefs injury reserve list and is out.

TAMPA, Fla. — With Super Bowl 55 just hours away, it is time to take a look at the injury report heading into the game which has four players combined from the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on it.

Starting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leading the way on the Injury Report is Antonio Brown who is listed as questionable to play with a knee injury despite putting up full participation at the Buccaneers’ last practice.

Also, on the Buccaneers injury report is the tight end, Cameron Brate, who is also listed as questionable with a back injury. This comes as a bit of a surprise being that there was no sign of an injury in the Bucs last few games or this week.

There are some reports though that Brate will be dressed and ready to go for Super Bowl 55.

With Brate playing, Rob Gronkowski’s player props on legal betting sites could be in jeopardy depending on which side of the bet is taken being that Brate has straight-up outplayed in the playoffs.

Moving on to the Kansas City Chiefs, at the top of their report is Sammy Watkins who has been listed as questionable with a calf injury as well as linebacker, Willie Gay, who was just placed on the Kansas City Chiefs Injury Report.

Starting with Sammy Watkins, there have been reports that he would still be suiting up for the game despite being questionable. With Watkins not being 100% going into the game, bettors could look to take the Over on the NFL player props Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce’s receptions.

The latest news on the Chiefs’ report is Willie Gay who is now on the IR list with a knee injury.

With Gay now listed as out, this could certainly play a role on the Buccaneers run game, more specifically Leonard Fournette who could hit the Over for his rushing prop as the Chiefs run defense is a bottom ten in the league at 21 for most rushing yards allowed.
