Los Angeles Rams: Closing The Gap On Chiefs/Buccaneers
A week ago, the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers were tied as the co-favorites at (+500). The two are still co-favorites at the top, but the Los Angeles Rams have closed some of the gap between the teams. Regulated sports betting sites moved the Rams’ odds from (+1100) to (+800) following their win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
If Los Angeles continues to play at this current level, it may not be too long until they’re considered the sole Super Bowl favorite. After all, some are already calling the Rams the best team in the NFL.
Los Angeles Chargers: Big Movers Into The Top 10 Shortest Odds
The Los Angeles Chargers made a statement win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2 and have since seen their odds change from (+3300) to (+2000). Those looking to bet on the NFL may want to wait to wager on the Chargers as they play the Las Vegas Raiders, Cleveland Browns, and Baltimore Ravens leading into their BYE week in Week 7.
For as good as Los Angeles might be, it’s very unlikely that they’ll make it through without a loss or two. When they lose, their odds will likely become longer than the current number and therefore will bring more value.
Raiders And Steelers: Continue To Move In Opposite Direction
The Las Vegas Raiders are undefeated through three games and lead the AFC West while the Pittsburgh Steelers sit at 1-2 and are the bottom-feeders of the AFC North. Las Vegas continues to see their odds get shorter as they have gone from (+6000) to (+2800) in the span of two weeks.
Meanwhile, Pittsburgh is trending in the opposite direction. As they have seen their odds move from (+4500) to (+10000) since last week. Things may get worse for the Steelers, so it probably won’t make too much sense to bet on them while their odds are long.
To put it in perspective, the Steelers win total is set at just 6.5 wins now. It’s tough to see that being good enough to make the playoffs.
Pittsburgh Steelers 2021-2022 Total Wins
- OVER 6.5 -110
- UNDER 6.5 -115
