- The MLB has a strong presence when it comes to sports betting with all sportsbooks.
- They have just partnered with a new data technology company that specializes in sports wagering, Swish Analytics.
- In New Jersey, MLB sports bets made up over 66% of all sports betting in the state.
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Swish Analytics, a California based company offering sports wagering technology has inked a partnership with the MLB. The multi-year contract will allow the company to supply official MLB live betting statistics in the United States to multiple sportsbook operators.
This deal will allow Swish to better their product when it comes to the MLB and offering their customers the very best in data technology services for sports betting in baseball.
“Swish is driving product innovation in U.S. sports betting, and with this exciting expansion of our partnership with MLB, we’ll continue to grow our presence in the gaming market and ensure that our full suite of pre-match, in-play and at-bat betting products defines the next generation of engagement for MLB fans,” said Bobby Skoff, Co-founder of Swish Analytics.
The technology company will not be the only ones to benefit from this new partnership. The MLB plans to use Swish to help grow their popularity in the sports wagering community. They also want to work with them to create different products using the Swish platform to engage fans, furthering their fan base and creating a bigger stream of revenue.
“Including Swish as a distributor of our rich, reliable and fast data, in addition to their best-in-class oddsmaking and gaming-data services, will drive competition and new product innovations across the sports betting landscape,” said Kenny Gersh, Executive Vice President for Gaming & Ventures with the MLB. “This will provide baseball fans with robust options to engage with games through sports betting and free-to-play experiences.”
This is only the latest deal in the world of professional sports when it comes to embracing legal sports betting. A Major League Soccer team in Pennsylvania has just become a partner with Parx Casino for the same reasons. As legalized sports wagering is becoming more prevalent nationwide, the professional sports franchises have realized that they too could benefit from these new laws as well.
