FORT WORTH, Texas – This weekend, auto racing bettors are in for a treat as NASCAR and Formula 1 racing provide a packed slate of betting action.

NASCAR has a triple header this weekend as the Cup, Xfinity, and Camping World Truck Series will all have races at Texas Motor Speedway while Formula 1 is scheduled to have the Portuguese Grand Prix.

NASCAR Xfinity Series – O’Reilly Auto Parts 300

The Xfinity Series is close to finding out who will be the champion as Chase Briscoe tries to extend his lead in the playoff standings. Briscoe has been the most dominant driver in the Xfinity Series this season. Expect Justin Allgaier, Brandon Jones, and Austin Cindric to all be in the hunt for victory lane as they need to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Briscoe has the most wins in the Xfinity Series this season with nine. That momentum has carried over into the playoffs as he’s atop the series standings.

Briscoe will need another strong playoff showing to keep his lead. The +200 odds on Briscoe should be taken as he remains a threat to find victory lane in any Xfinity Series race.

There are only two more races remaining in the NASCAR Cup Series before a champion is crowned. Joey Logano currently holds a slim lead in Cup Series the playoff standings and will look to hold off second-place Kevin Harvick and third-place Denny Hamlin going into the final stretch of the playoffs.

Kevin Harvick has won this race the past three years and will need another winning performance to get one step closer to winning the Cup Series Title.

Harvick’s experience in dominating this race clearly gives him an advantage over the rest of the field. Harvick led the Cup Series in wins this year with nine and that momentum should carry him to his fourth straight win in the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500.

Aside from Harvick, Denny Hamlin has been the best driver in the Cup Series this season. Hamlin has the second-most wins in the series with seven and while he shouldn’t be the first driver to bet on in this race his +425 odds are a good dart throw in case Harvick doesn’t find Victory Lane.

Hamlin still being alive in the playoff standings means he will race aggressively and that alone is enough reason to take the odds on Hamlin.

Formula 1 – Portuguese Grand Prix

Formula 1 gifts motorsports bettors the gift of the Portuguese Grand Prix this weekend as a familiar face is atop the odds board in Lewis Hamilton.

Look for him to dominate this Grand Prix just as he’s dominated Formula 1 racing for the past couple of years.

Lewis Hamilton has been the best driver in Formula 1 for the past couple of years as he’s separated himself from the rest of the drivers.

At this point, if you’re betting against Hamilton, you’re just donating money to sportsbooks. Hamilton has -190 odds to win the Portuguese Grand Prix and those odds should be taken with confidence because once the racing starts Hamilton’s odds will continue up the ladder as the favorite.
