KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – On Monday, the Tennessee Titans announced a partnership with the market-leading sports betting and gaming platform, BetMGM, making the company the franchise’s first official sports betting partner.
This agreement is historic for the state because it is the first-ever official deal between a professional sports team and a sports betting platform to happen in Tennessee.
This is a perfect time for this partnership due to the fact that Tennessee legalized online sports betting last year and is currently planning to go live with betting platforms for residents around the start of November.
“We are thrilled to bring BetMGM to the state of Tennessee,” said Gil Beverly, Titans Sr. Vice President, Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer. “BetMGM will deliver new experiences and levels of engagement to our fans and we’re excited to welcome them in as an official partner.”
The terms of the partnership give BetMGM brand visibility across the different Titans digital platforms along with in-game moments such as video board replays, field goal attempts, and more.
As an official sports betting partner, BetMGM will now hold the exclusive naming rights to the Titans’ television studio at Saint Thomas Sports Park, which is home to the Coach Mike Vrabel Show, Titans All Access, and all other additional content that is aired throughout the state.
“The Titans are an incredible organization and we’re proud to have BetMGM as the team’s first official sports betting partner,” said Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s Chief Marketing Officer. “This is truly a partnership between two great brands and we’re excited to introduce Titans fans to new ways to engage with their favorite football team.”
The company will sponsor the soon-to-be-announced Titans raffles that will go straight to The Titans Foundation which funds many community organizations around the state.
BetMGM has also received a conditional license to offer online legal sports betting in Tennessee and the mobile app is set to launch in the state on November 1 which is the target date for sports betting to go live.
