LAS VEGAS – The Nevada Gaming Commission has approved of Derek Stevens’ new sportsbook called Circa Sports.

New Golden Gate Sportsbook Is The First Step

Stevens is aiming to build a completely new sportsbook in Las Vegas from the ground-up. This has not been done in Sin City in over three decades. The plan is to build a stadium-style sportsbook that is going to be as big as an entire city block and construction is set to be complete in December of 2020.

Prior to that, Stevens is planning to build up excitement for his new venture. He is opening a new sportsbook at the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino on June 1. He said that his new sportsbook at the Golden Gate will have a large video wall with 18 different screens. They will be showing games being played and displaying current odds. He is also planning to implement two betting kiosks as well.

This isn’t his only plan for the Golden Gate. Stevens will also offer mobile sports betting as a part of the new sportsbook. Stevens said that he is using all the experience he has gained with sportsbooks to give gamblers the best sports betting experience he can offer.

The Golden Gate venue is not going to be the only location for Circa Sports. Next, there will be a satellite sportsbook opening up at the D Las Vegas. This will open in late June and it will be the second location for Circa Sports. The details for this sportsbook have not been revealed yet, but it is likely going to reflect what the Golden Gate Circa Sports will offer.

Next, up after the new D Las Vegas sportsbook opens up is going to be the Circa Resort and Casino. Stevens is calling this sportsbook the “mecca of sports betting”. The resort is aiming to welcome both veteran and new sports bettors into its doors.

“We plan to make placing bets easier than ever for advanced bettors while ushering in a new wave of novice players who are seeking the advice of experts to help guide the way,” said Stevens.

It will be a two-level casino with a three-level stadium style sportsbook. He is aiming for the new sportsbook to be the “largest sportsbook in Las Vegas history”. It will be the tallest building in the Las Vegas Strip so that people can easily identify it.
