Top CBB Teams All 30-Point Favorites On Monday Slate

WACO, Texas – The only ranked teams in action on Monday happen to be within the top five – all of which are favored by a very large margin.

The 10-0 Baylor Bears will be playing the 1-9 Alcorn State Braves on Monday in what is an extremely lopsided matchup. As the top-ranked team in the country Baylor has been dominant with a 7-2-1 ATS record. Legal online betting sites have given the Bears quite the challenge to cover this large number.

While the Braves have an ugly record overall, their record against the spread is among the best in the country.

Incarnate Word only lost to Baylor by 27 points and Texas Tech by 22, making 38 seems wildly optimistic on the side of Purdue.

However, Purdue has won multiple games by 30+ points. The Boilermakers are 4-1-1 ATS in their history as favorites of 30+ points and are riding a four-game win streak dating back to 2015.

No. 5 Gonzaga Bulldogs Vs. Northern Arizona Lumberjacks

Gonzaga is no stranger to being a 30-point favorite as many of their conference games in the WCC follow a similar path. While the Zags are a perfect 28-0 SU when favored by 30+ points, they have a losing record ATS at 13-15 all-time.

The 29th occasion will be on Monday against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.

The Lumberjacks have yet to lose by 30 points this season but have yet to play a team even close to the Bulldogs’ level of talent. Gonzaga has three wins of 30+ points this year, but is just 2-4 ATS.

When the spreads are this large, the favored team is likely not in jeopardy of losing, but often struggles to dominate so heavily from start to finish.
