- Mike Tyson takes on Roy Jones Jr. with sportsbooks listing Mike Tyson as the -200 favorite.
- Boxing props have Tyson to win by KO, TKO, or DQ at -150, and for Jones Jr. to win by decision at +300.
CARSON, Calif. – The farfetched exhibition boxing match between legends Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. is almost here.
The two iconic boxers will face off in an eight-round bout on Saturday, where the 54-year old Tyson will battle the 51-year-old Roy Jones Jr.
This exhibition was the idea of both boxers, who believed they could still draw top dollar at their advanced age. The fight was set for September originally, but was postponed and moved to its new date due to the events of the coronavirus.
Betting odds are fully ready and available on all the legal sports betting sites, with Tyson as the strong favorite.
Boxing Winner – Tyson vs. Jones Jr. – 11/28/20 9:00 p.m. EST:
- Mike Tyson -200
- Roy Jones Jr. +160
Tyson initially opened as the slight -105 to -135 underdog, but the odds soon shifted after media of Tyson working out made its rounds around the internet.
To put it simply, Tyson looks completed jacked for anyone, let alone a 54-year old former fighter.

Tyson has also shown incredible movement and speed in his training videos. While this is obviously intended to build hype, boxing bettors can’t help but get nostalgic watching Iron Mike himself back in the ring mixing it up.
Bettors can also find a number of prop bets surrounding the fight. These bets are conditions like a round of victory, or in this case method of victory.
Boxing Props – Tyson vs. Jones Jr. – Method of Victory:
- M. Tyson By KO, TKO Or DQ -150
- R. Jones Jr. By KO, TKO Or DQ +450
- M. Tyson By Decision Or Technical Decision +400
- R. Jones Jr. By Decision Or Technical Decision +300
- Draw Or Technical Draw +1200
The books clearly favor a Tyson victory by knockout, leaving the door open for some major payouts if Jones Jr. is able to pull off the upset.
Either way, it is unlikely that two men of their age will be able to fight for eight rounds without one of them going down.
That or both men will simply take it easy on each other and cruise to a civil finish.
This is highly unlike though, as Tyson and Jones Jr. are certainly looking for something to prove. The fight goes down Saturday and can be seen on Pay Per View through Triller at 9 p.m. EST.
